I missed my blog!!! I terribly do! It’s not that I didn’t have anything to share but I didn’t have enough juice to beat after working all day. This closing/audit season is one for the books: ONE HELLUV OF A RIDE! Thankfully, “war” (on numbers and disclosures) is over and we’ve finally entered the endgame. Soon, we’ll begin a new phase/chapter – probably by July, kasabay ng Spiderman: Far from Home showing. Haha. You see, no matter how busy I was, I still made an effort to watch Avengers: Endgame before the spoiler ban was officially lifted. I’m not an avid fan of MCU but I do love the Marvel movies from the last decade.
I don’t exactly remember how I end up in this position in my organization. I am without staff and an immediate supervisor. Over time, these oversight agencies started requiring reports with differing formats. Anyways, I definitely don’t want to bore you with my negativities: workload, traffic due to roadworks and politicians campaigning inconsiderably, memo for my ‘tardiness’ and the lack of a proper family summer vacation.
With my exhausted body, swollen muscles, empty pockets (hello tuition fees!) and dampen spirit, I was looking for something or someone to sustain my strength. My family is my ultimate source of bliss and strength. With everything I do, I try to do it for their best interest even if it will harm me. But, the past days, they could no longer inspire or motivate me. So, I did what I should have done or been doing all this time. I turned into the oldest and truest book the world has ever known and started reading the holy scriptures.
Indeed, His words breathe life! His love sustains. With the above scriptures, I realized two things:
1. My weaknesses have a divine purpose and that is to show everyone how God strengthens His children.
2. I can be physically exhausted, mentally clouded and emotionally drained but feel at peace, happy, healthy and contented as long as my spirit is in God. He sustains and only He can do that.
I have nothing much to add to this post. I just want to tell you guys that I’m still here. I’m just tired and a bit beaten by my other responsibilities but, I soon will be back to regular posting. All these, I thank and glorify God for continuously sustaining me during these hard times. Better days, ahead, I know.
